About Us

Welcome to Arise & Shine

Arise and Shine CBO is a certified, community-based organization located in Kericho, Kenya, dedicated to supporting children with disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. Founded in 2023 and officially registered in 2024, our mission is to advocate for the rights, dignity, and inclusion of these individuals while empowering caregivers and families. We provide a range of services including inclusive care, vocational training, special education, and occupational therapy. Through a team of dedicated professionals and trained volunteers, we strive to build a more understanding, inclusive society where every child can thrive.

We also run advocacy and awareness campaigns to combat stigma and promote acceptance, while offering certified programs focused on practical support and long-term sustainability. Our efforts are strengthened through partnerships with local government bodies, NGOs, faith-based institutions, and development partners. At Arise and Shine CBO, we believe that every individual—regardless of ability—deserves equal opportunities, access to resources, and the chance to live a fulfilling life.
